Greetings in different languages

GREETINGS FROM OURENSE ( GALICIA)

Hello there, we´d like to  know you better. We ´re going to introduce ourselves and talk about our hometown, studies/jobs, languages ahd hobbies. Why don´t you do the same?

 

 LURDES:

I’m from Galicia and I live in Ourense. I’m a civil servant, I work as a computer teacher in a Vocational school in Ourense. Languages:    I speak Spanish, Galician and a little English and French. I don’t speak Portuguese but I understand it a little. I really like reading. I usually read different types of novels, e.g. The Forgotten Garden or The Boy in  Striped Pyjamas. I like pop music. I love comedies, adventures and thrillers, and some science fiction movies. I also like horror films but I don’t like gore movies.
MARÍA C.  
 I´m from Spain and I live in Galicia, in the north west of Spain.  I´m a Primary teacher in  a school in Ourense. I speak Spanish , Galician and a little French but I don´t speak English.  I like pop and rock, ( Spanish ). I don´t like jazz or rap or reggaeton. I really like to travel to any destination and at any time of the year. I love reading and I love books. Classical and modern literature, e.g. Stendhal, Dostoievski, Paul Auster, Eduardo Mendoza.

   I´m from Spain, but I live in Ourense. I´m a teacher. I work for a state institution. I speak Spanish and Galician and a little English.   I like reading historical novel and  sciency fiction. I like to travel in Europe, but I don´t like to travel in Africa.
  LOLY L.

 I’m from Caracas (Venezuela), but I live in Carballiño (Ourense). I live in a flat. I’m a teacher of primary school, I’m a civil servant. I work with children with special needs at a state school. I speak Spanish, Galician and a little English. I don’t speak Portuguese but I understand it. I like to walk in the park. I want to exercise to stay in shape for example swimming, aerobics, going to the gym, but I don't have much time. I usually watch documentaries about traveling or cooking on the TV. I love to  know the culture of other countries.I enjoy with family gatherings and friends. At weekends and holidays I take this opportunity to meet up with them and  have lunch or a coffee.

I was born in Germany but I live in Spain, in Ourense. I’m teacher. I work in a school in Ourense center. I speak Spanish, Galician and a little English but I don’t speak German. My aim for 2018 is to improve my English.
Interests: I love traveling. On my next trip I would like to visit London.I like rock music, e.g. U2, Rolling Stones. I like reading. My favorite writer is Isabel Allende.  I love Galician and Italian  food.  I hate fast food.

. I’m from Galicia, but I live in Ribadavia. Some weekends I go to Vigo.I’m a teacher and I teach biology in a secondary school. I’ m civil clerk. I speak Spanish and Galician. I don’t speak English, but I study and I understand a little English. I like Spanish music. I don’t  like heavy metal or reggaeton. I listen to music on the radio. I like Spanish and British films. I love film soundtracks and I like  Clint Eastwood American Films very much, e.g. ‘The Bridges of Madison County’.
I don’t watch much TV, but I watch the news in the evening and films at the weekend. I like to swim and walk. I go swimming every week on Wednesday. I like to travel, read, cook, go shopping, go to the cinema and to be with my nephew.
PILAR Q.  
I´m from Spain and I live in Ourense. I´m a teacher. I work in a primary school. speak Spanish, Galician and a little French. I study English but, at the moment, I don´t speak it.I like rock music. My favorite singer is  Bruce Springsteen and my favorite band is Creedence. I don´t like Latin music or classical music. I like reading. My favorite books are mystery novels. I like action films, e.g. Tarantino´s “Kill Bill”.
I watch the news in the evening and TV series at the weekend, e.g. “Sons of Anarchy” or “Los Soprano”.
